My blogging experience

This is the moment to talk about my experience like a blogger in English. In first time I like it, because I think this a fun way to practice the English and in general isn't difficult. In addition I think that I improve my English, now is easier for me to think in English and write in that language, but at the moment of talk I don’t know if this work in the same way.

Like an advantage I saw the numbers of words that we must to write, and how that grows up in the time. That objective forced us to think more what we want to say and use more words in the text.

Like a disadvantages of this blogging experience, I saw the problems with the revision of all the blogs and all the commentaries, I think that I do too much mistakes and I don’t know what are they. I really want to have better English but I don’t know my mistakes.

I remember when I have to write about my favorite movie and I have a lot of problems about that, I really don’t have a favorite movie so I just put a movie what I really like; “La vita è bella”. Also I remember when I write about my old band or my little pet, I really like to write about that because is not a simple homework, I think that have something more.

Stranger

I think that the picture was taken in the 50' because is in black and white and I don't see signals of any other decade, the person there is a magician in the middle of his act and he wear a black suit. I think he has a little box with too many birds for the next trick where he will disappear and the white's birds will fly for all the stage, later the band in the back appear and play a celebration's song, but after a few minutes the magician is not here, and start the general worry.

He is a really famous magician like David Copperfield, and the people in the stage is very worried about him because he never fail an act, and all the persons saw the box in the scene with curiosity, and then the box jump in the air and the magician leave the little box and more birds fly around the stage.

The band in the back start to play again, they know it before, the people start to clap when they stand up. He do a bow and all the stage exploded killing everyone included him.

Favorite movie

I don't have a really favorite movie or I'm not very asertive in that desicion, for that reason I'm going to talk about a very good movie "La vita è bella". this movie have place in World War II, and how the Nazis discriminated against the Jews. In there the director, "Roberto Benigni", is the protagonist too (his wife, Nicoletta Braschi, is the co-protagonist in the movie) and he won 3 Oscars; for better actor, better sound track and better foreign movie. The movie is based on the book "Al final derroté a Hitler" by Rubino Romeo Salmoni.
The movie talk about a jews parents' descendant, Guido Orefice, who is deported to a concentration camp with his boy, Josué, and wife. Guido Orefice is a very fun, cunning, a good father and husband. In the course of the movie, He try to hide the true to his son, the true about his conditions like Jews and his imminent death saying to everything is a game.
I like this movie beacuse of all the movies about Nazis, concentration camp and things like that, this is the movie  that connect me more with a feel of sadness and angry about the situation, I think this is for the empathy with the protagonist, but whatever is a very good movie and I recommended too much.

Michel Foucault

Michel Foucault is one of my favorite writers and I admire his thinking and ideas about prison and power in the society. He was a France philosopher, a social theorist, ideas' historian, and too many things. He never say what really is.

He was born in October 15, 1984 in France. He is relevant to sociology because a lot of his investigations are about the society and the relation between the Power with the history, society. Also he writes are about the evolution of the society in relation with the "abnormal", a topic that I really like.

In the present I’m reading a book of his first period and more is a book about his classes in a university in France, are the recordings of thats classes so is really interesting to read, in especial when he ask for 5 minutes more o something like that.

This book called "los anormales", and is a book about sociology, how the society sees the abnormal in the time since of the leprous until the plague victims.

He die in June 25, 1984 victim of a sicks caused by AIDS being the first famous frensh who died with that sick.

The Santiago's subway

In Santiago of Chile there are modern transport’s systems like the subway. I remember when I was a child and travel in subway were a futuristic experience, when not mush people use it and always we have sits in there.

But now is awful the travel in subway, there are too many people who use it that is almost impossible have a sit. The people are so angry and sad in there, is like they don’t want to travel never, but they have to do it and that’s terrible.

With the Transantiago, the problems getting worst, travel in public transport is a bad experience and the people use different object to distract themselves like cell phone, books, music, etc… Like sociologist we have to saw those people’s conducts, and give an answer; I don’t have one yet, but I’ll continue my observation to think about that; how the transport public, in especial the subway affect the people’s conducts.

A good picture of the past

This is good of my favorite pictures beacuse there it is my old band: "Los gatos jazz", it was taken by a friend: Tamara Leyton in the beginning of the last year , she is studying photography so it is a great picture.

I play the electric bass in the jazz band and with my friends we play a lot of standards of jazz like "Pink panther", "Godfather's song", "The chicken" also bossa nova standards and The tarantella napoletana.

In that picture we play in a friend's restaurant called: "Rancho Chileno".

In the picture we can see our logo and all the members of the band; sax, electric bass, drums and keyboard.

We disintegrated the band in july of 2011  for problems with the keyboardist and desmotivation, but is probably that we start again with the band in the winter holyday.

I remmember the days in the abnd with melancholy so i want to rearm the band, it was very funny and i'm pretty that my friends thought the same.

Little pet!

Hi everydobody, today i'm gonna talk about my little pet "Tommy", his is a guinea pig. Is the my brother's pet rea lly, but i'm who care about it. Tommy is almost five years old,  and is so big, i can't wait the moment when we eat it!. I'm kidding, but my uncle say that the guinea pig's blood cure cancer, so is an option. I'm kidding again!, we will never eat a member of the family, in especial this little friend.
It is brown with white marks in his hair and It is sick and nobody knows what happend to it, I'm very worried but I can do anything, just i hope it will be fine soon.

My favorite technology object

My favorite technology object is my notebook. My parents give it to me in 2009 when my dad stopped to use it for work. Although it isn’t the best notebook in the world and it is very slow, I like it and I use every day in the living room at home.
I use it to do my homework, listen to music, surf on the internet and talk with my friends online. My notebook gives to me a lot of privacy and it is very difficult that other people in the house use it because it’s like my room in a pc.
I don’t know what I’ll do without my notebook, there are too many people in my home so the PC is always taken, and my little brothers never lend it to anyone, so it’ll be impossible to do anything in it.

My little biography

Welcome everyone!, my name is Juan Gabriel Carrasco Bastias, i'm 18. I was born on 27th December,1993 on Santiago, Chile. I live in Puente alto with my parents, my 3 brothers, grandmother, and my cousin with her little child.

Well, I live in Santigo all my life and my studies have been in there too, i start kinder garden when I was 5 , one year later i start my elementary school in a public school in "Protectora de la infancia" until 8 grade when I was promote to high school in a different school; "San Carlos de Aragón". There I choose humanist in the speciality option, that was one of my reason to choose sociology like my career. And now I study sociology on Universidad de chile.

I really like music, and i really like jazz and psicodelic or conceptual rock like Pink floyd, I play bass, guitar, harmonic and flute, I was in a band of jazz where I played the bass but we broke and now i just ride little songs without importance. I like to read philosophy and poetry and my fvorties author are nietzche and Morrison.

I don't believe in god or any religion and more, my believes are against the religion. My politics isn't cleary but is obvious they are very close to socialism or comunism.
